Q: How can I increase my rewards on Pococha?

A: Viewers sending more Items will mean more Engagement Diamonds. Additionally, their extra support can help you increase your Rank and earn higher Time Diamonds and Performance Bonuses. It all comes down to the viewer!

The best way to increase support from your viewers is to focus on community management of your fans. Interact, communicate, and update them on a daily basis. Pococha has features like the Family to make it easier to do this! Our data shows that broadcasters with active communities are the most likely to grow.

Please remember that if you’re a signed broadcaster, your Diamond rewards are issued to your agency where they are then distributed at the discretion of your agency and your individual contract with them.

Q: If you don’t get a zero or +1 that day, you don’t get paid, right?

A: The Rank Meter is only a tool that increases or decreases the Rank of a broadcaster. Broadcasters increase their Rank when they can achieve enough +1 or +2 points to Rank Up!

If a broadcaster receives a ±0 or -1 on the meter, they still receive all Diamond rewards for that day (Time Diamonds, Engagement Diamonds, and Performance Bonus). Independent broadcasters will have these Diamonds deposited into their account, and signed broadcasters will have the Diamond rewards sent to their agency where they will be dispersed.

Some broadcasters and viewers think if they get a +0, they do not receive rewards. But in fact they do!

As we mentioned, the broadcaster’s position on the Rank Meter does not have an affect on their Diamond rewards for that day. But earning +1s and +2s can help increase the Rank of the broadcaster which will lead to larger Diamond rewards for future days!

Q: I think Pococha should pay broadcasters more.

Remember, Pococha doesn’t pay broadcasters a salary. Broadcasters can earn rewards directly from the amount of viewer support they are earning!

Currently, Pococha is using 100% of the revenue from viewers and turning all of it into rewards for broadcasters. The size of rewards is a result of viewer support! So, the only way to increase one’s rewards is to increase the support from viewers!

Q: I’m having trouble increasing the amount of support from my viewers. What can I do?

A: On Pococha, communication is the key. Take time to develop a relationship with your viewers, understand them, and educate them on how they can help you reach your Pococha goals! Also consider enrolling in the PocoAcademy program, where you can learn all the best tips on how to succeed. We also recommend reading all the other educational blogs we post here!

Q: Can broadcasting be a full-time job?

A: Some broadcasters may have Pococha as their primary job or only job. However, remember that broadcasters are not employees of Pococha!

Much like a Youtuber who can make videos full time, the same is true for Pococha. Broadcasters can use the Pococha platform as a way to grow their fan community and earn more rewards from their support! The creator is not reliant on the app for rewards, but rather on their viewers!

In this regard, Pococha does not provide normal “benefits” of a job because it is not one! However, we do try to provide “quality of life” features to our users so they can best enjoy the app. One of these is the Freeze Pass, which makes your Rank Meter inactive during the 24-hour period it’s in use, and can be used on days you don’t broadcast.

Please also remember that since your rewards as a broadcaster are based on your viewers’ support during the broadcast, rewards are not earned on days you don’t go live.

Q: Can we be provided with an estimate of how much broadcasters earn on Pococha?

A: Pococha does not disclose the reward earnings of broadcasters for privacy reasons.

However, we do disclose the amount of Time Diamonds and Performance Bonus that can be earned at each Rank level!

Please read the FAQ for each to learn more.

Performance Bonus FAQ

Please note, this estimate excludes the amount of Engagement Diamonds that broadcasters earn from the support of their viewers. Engagement Diamonds earn a broadcaster even more rewards than just the Time Diamonds and Performance bonus that can be estimated on our FAQ.

Q: Does Pococha provide additional incentives to broadcasters, outside of what they earn from viewer support?

A: Occasionally as part of marketing efforts or to help subsidize rewards, Pococha will provide additional incentives to broadcasters.

For example, the current Performance Bonus is an incentive we are conducting to help subsidize broadcaster rewards. We are providing this incentive to broadcasters as a thank you for their commitment to growing with Pococha! However, the size of the Performance Bonus, like other rewards, is still correlated to the Rank of the broadcaster and therefore the size of their viewer support!

Please note, incentives are not permanent and can be changed or ended at anytime. Always remember that the only way to increase one’s rewards permanently is to increase one’s level of support from viewers!

Q: When can I earn Time Diamonds? Why are some broadcasts not able to earn Time Diamonds?

A: There are limits for how many hours can earn Time Diamonds.

Up to 4 hours a day.
Up to 19 hours a week.
Up to 75 hours a month.

If your broadcast has already exceeding any of those limits, it may not earn Time Diamonds. Additionally, there are some other restrictions on which hours are eligible for Time Diamonds. Please read our Time Diamond FAQ for a complete understanding!

Q: How does Pococha decide how much to pay broadcasters?

A: Remember, Pococha does not “pay” its broadcasters a salary, because they do not work for Pococha!

Instead, broadcasters earn a monetary reward that is correlated to the size of support they are receiving from their viewers. When the amount of support a broadcaster receives increases, their rewards will also increase!

Currently in an effort to help broadcasters who are committing to Pococha in the long term, Pococha is using 100% of viewer support revenue to create monetary rewards for broadcasters.

Please remember that if you’re a signed broadcaster, your Diamond rewards are issued to your agency where they are then distributed at the discretion of your agency and your individual contract with them.

Q: If I am a signed broadcaster, I don’t receive Diamonds correct? I just get paid by my agency.

A: All Pococha broadcasters receive monetary rewards in the form of diamonds. Signed broadcasters earn Time Diamonds, Engagement Diamonds, and Performance Bonus diamonds in the exact same way as independent broadcasters. There is no difference!

However instead of being provided directly to the broadcaster, signed broadcasters have their diamonds distributed to their agency. The agency then decides how to distribute the diamonds to its broadcasters according to their own individual contracts and policies.

So, signed broadcasters earn Diamond rewards just like independent broadcasters. If you have a really good day with lots of support from viewers, you will receive more Diamonds! Then, your agency decides and distributes your rewards.
