Game manual for “Battle Bingo -Beat the rival Family-“

Introduction

This blog is a game manual for Battle Bingo ~Beat the Rival Family~.

It contains hints for your concerns and questions, such as “I don’t know how to play,” “I’m worried about participating for the first time in the event,” and “The rules seem difficult,” and so on.

Read this Blog carefully and enjoy Battle Bingo!

How to participate in the game?

Battle Bingo is a game where Family members work together to strategize and compete with their opponents.

Broadcasters will strategize with their viewers while broadcasting, and viewers will send Items at specific times to help the broadcaster win squares on a virtual bingo board that the Pococha team will be managing.

Broadcasters and viewers work together to win!

During the game, thinking about strategies and predicting the opponent’s actions will be a different kind of communication than usual.

After the game is over, praise your viewers who participated and talk with everyone about the results of the game.

Battle Bingo may be a good opportunity to increase communication within the family.

Communication during the broadcast is key

The key to winning Bingo Battle is the unity of the family!

It is very important to be able to communicate with each other in order to make quick decisions.

*Data from a game conducted in Japan also shows us that the Families that communicated the most were the most likely to win!

Let’s create a family atmosphere where broadcasters and viewers can communicate with each other easily.

Let’s have fun together!

Let’s rejoice with all the family members when you acquire the squares or when you defend the squares.

You will feel a big accomplishment when you achieve a goal with every family member!

Let’s all celebrate the viewers who have done well.

ex.) The viewer who suggested which square to defend. The viewer who suggested the strategy.

Of course, there are times when the strategy does not work and the desired result is not achieved.

When this happens, instead of blaming someone else, let’s discuss how to make the next battle decision work.

Seize the chance to turn the tables

Do not give up even if the bingo is not aligned at the end of the 4th battle.

The best thrill of Battle Bingo is that you can aim for an upset.

If you own at least one square at the start of the fifth battle, you can aim for a bingo.

Although it’s difficult, it is possible to reverse the situation if you can arrange one row of bingos in a diagonal line.

Since your opponents may also develop a strategy that is aware of diagonal lines, the key to reversal is to acquire squares that can create diagonal lines from the midpoint of the game.

Do not forget to contact the Pococha operation team

The “declaration of attack” and “declaration of defense” will be done via Instagram DM.

Prepare a device for DM communication to inform the Pococha team of your attacks and defenses.

*When switching apps, the broadcast screen will automatically turn off when Poccoha is in background playback. Therefore, before switching the application, tell the viewers that you will turn off the screen because you will contact the Pococha operation team.

Also, when you return to the Pococha app, the broadcast screen is automatically turned on.

Take advantage of the battle result web page

After each battle, the “battle result web page” is automatically updated to reflect the battle results on the bingo card.

On the day of the Battle Bingo, the URL of the battle result web page will be shared with participants, so please keep the page open in your browser so that you can check it.

During the broadcast, switch between the Pococha app and your browser to check the results.

Be sure to share each round’s results with your viewers!

Item Reaction Awards #2 – Winners!

We have another Item Reaction Award results to announce!

What are the Item Reaction Awards?

Broadcasters that demonstrate unique & creative Item reactions can win amazing Pococha prizes!

The reactions can be submitted not only by the broadcasters themselves, but also by their viewers. Our team has selected the best videos among all the amazing submissions sent by you.

The winning broadcasters will receive a commemorative trophy with their name engraved on it, and will be promoted on the homepage of the app!

If you’re a Pococha broadcaster, we highly recommend watching and learning from these Item reactions – they’re a great way to increase support from your viewers!

1st place: Ventura

She was very skilled at differentiating the reactions between large, medium and small Items.  The reaction to the small Item “Run Run” was very quick. At the same time, the performance was excellent!

She used preplanned hero props for about a minute in a very timely manner! Another important evaluation point is the feeling of closeness, created by calling out the viewer’s name over and over, while also making a heart sign with her hands by the end, and thus creating a sense of familiarity with the viewer. This broadcaster was extremely well prepared with a myriad of items, like no other!

———————–

Here’s what Ventura had to say about the reaction!:

My and my daughter did special things to react the items. One of my top viewers love the Dance Floor item, that she did one only for him. I also mention his name during the reaction cause he can feel special. We also do together a blue ranger mask to always react PocoRanger   and remember the Japanese rangers films. The Ranger symbol with glitter also helps to give more shine!  Plus I had a fun time with my lovely daughter doing this, and my viewers also love to know this.

———————–

2nd place: TrisMarie

She expressed her gratitude for about 40 seconds for the “Show Appreciation” large Item, giving compliments to the viewer like “I can’t do it without you, will you be by my side forever?” And making a heart mark with her hands, expressing her gratitude many times to the viewer who sent the item, and giving them a special connection that no-one else can experience. A beautiful expression! We wonder if other viewers got jealous of the reaction the viewer received!

———————–

Insert TrisMarie‘s own comments here

This video got my whole chat hyped up because I took the reaction and “ran” with it, to their delight!

3rd place : Jemi got soul

Overall, her reactions to the Items were very good. It was great that pancake props were prepared in advance for her reaction to the 5-Coin pancake Item, and the performance for the pancake Item was also well prepared. For better or worse, the reaction to this small Item was a bit over the top, so we put it at 3rd place.

The 55-coin “Show me your best dance move” Item got a worthy original dance performance, matching the beat of this Item’s song. Viewers that were watching could ask to make changes to the dance, so they got very excited with the possibility to interact with the broadcaster.

Special Prize: Kaleila J.

This broadcaster gave us an original 30 second dance upon receiving the  “Show me your best dance move” Item, which costs only 55 coins. Since it was such a small Item, it did feel a bit too much for the side of the Item, although there was an original dance with her whole body and saying the viewer’s name repeatedly, giving them a satisfying performance. At the end, she made a heart mark gesture, called the listener again and conveyed her gratitude. Good to know: About 80% of the people answered that they would be happy if you called the listener’s name, so how about doing that?

Special Prize: Miss Knockout

Two medium Items and two small items were sent during a short interval of time, but her response was admirably flexible and versatile. Moreover, since medium Items get priority over small Items, the response was nicely discernible between large, medium and small Items. The Item “wooah/Rah rah” received a one minute dance and rap full of originality, added with a “thank you” specifically calling out the viewer’s name with an expression of gratitude.

———————–

Special Prize: CEO of Cougartown

Here the reaction to the “Heart Hands” Item followed the instructions nicely.

Example: To firmly call the viewersr’s name, make a heart symbol with both hands, then move the heart symbol back and forth many times. Meanwhile, the during her reaction to the ROFL small Items, it looked like she tickled the Item’s image with a finger, showing an original and discernible performance for large, medium and small items. A very good performance!

———————–

In summary, every awarded broadcaster delivered a wonderful performance that showed the strong and unique connection between the streamer and the viewer. If you didn’t receive an award this time, we hope that you feel inspired and to be creative in the next Item Reaction Awards! Please be sure to join us next time!

Here are the winners of the first annual Item Reaction Awards

Learn About The Pococha Rewards System

Hey Pococha!

Today we are going to cover a topic that has been requested by many users – the Pococha Rewards System!

We often hear questions such as :

  • How does Pococha reward broadcasters?
  • What kind of monetary rewards can I earn?
  • How can I increase the size of my rewards?
  • Are my rewards a result of my viewers’ support?

We plan to address all these questions and more!

But first, here’s an infographic that provides an overview of the article!

Part 1: Become a Top Influencer on Pococha

Pococha is a quickly-growing platform that plans to produce the next generation of influencers. Pococha provides its broadcasters with monetary reward by using the Pococha Reward System!

The sky is the limit for these new creators to become well-known household names! Consider creators who began on Youtube or Tik Tok before the apps found mainstream success. The creators who committed to the platform while it was small are the ones most likely to be huge & successful now. These influencers with millions of followers decided to commit to the app when it was small because they saw its future growth and potential.

The same is true for Pococha!
We foresee a future in which broadcasters’ communities grow exponentially alongside the growth of the app. And much like Youtubers earning high income off the ad revenue of their videos, Pococha broadcasters will also earn large monetary rewards for their efforts.

Here on Pococha, we offer an amazing feature that helps our creators know where they’re at on their journey to becoming a top broadcaster. That feature is called the Rank System!

Rank System signifies the size & quality of support a broadcaster is receiving from their fans (viewers). The higher your Rank, the more rewards you will earn!

So, in order to earn bigger and more rewards on Pococha, it is essential to increase your Rank on Pococha. To create a successful community of fans that will support you in increasing Rank, you must not only broadcast regularly and for long periods but also focus on deepening relationships with each of your viewers. Pococha has another great feature to help manage these relationships and communicate with fans – the Family feature!

So what kind of broadcasters become top influencers on the app, and earn higher rewards?

The ones who increase their Rank by successfully connecting with their viewers and managing their Family!

It is important to keep in mind that the rewards given to broadcasters on Pococha are not being “paid” to the user by Pococha. Instead, the size of a broadcaster’s rewards is directly correlated to the size of support they are receiving from their viewers!

This is similar to other platforms like Youtube, where the creators earn money from ad revenue that is directly correlated to the viewer activity.

On Pococha, the broadcaster provides value to the viewer by communication during a broadcast and by fan management in a Family! When the viewer feels valued, they will increase their support to the broadcaster. When the broadcaster grows their number of viewers and the amount of support from each viewer, their Rank will increase leading to more & larger rewards like Diamonds.

On Youtube, the creator must also create value for the viewer and increase viewer activity in order to earn higher ad revenue amounts!

Remember that broadcasters are not employees of Pococha, but creators!

Unlike a salaried employee at a company, a creator knows that their rewards like Diamonds are provided to them not by the platform (Pococha) but instead by their viewers. Being a broadcaster on Pococha is not like earning a salary for working. The broadcaster’s rewards are instead a direct result of how much revenue is being generated by their fans. If they wish to increase the size of their rewards, they must increase the size of support from their fans.

Just like Youtube, Pococha is the platform where creators and fans can connect, and provides a place for viewer’s support to be translated into monetary rewards. The creators do not work for the platform – they work for themselves and use the platform as a tool to grow their influence and earn higher rewards!

Many broadcasters have thought that Pococha is the one “paying” them, but this is a misconception! Instead, Pococha invests revenue from viewers into rewards for broadcasters. In fact, Pococha is currently investing ALL revenue from viewers right back into rewards for broadcasters. This monetary reward is delivered to the broadcaster in the form of Diamonds.

Currently, Pococha rewards broadcasters with Diamonds in 3 primary ways, all Diamonds come from viewer support:

  • Time Diamonds
    • Diamonds earned from viewer’s support, like Items, but distributed as an hourly reward.
    • Higher Ranks earn larger Time Diamonds per hour.
  • Engagement Diamonds
    • Diamonds earned as a result of viewers support, like Items.
    • The higher rate of engagement a broadcaster has, the larger reward they will be given from Pococha’s revenue fro the viewers.
  • Performance Bonus
    • A diamond bonus currently being provided to broadcasters to subsidize their reward earnings.
    • Can be earned every day as long as the requirements are met.

While there are 3 primary ways to earn Diamonds currently, we can easily summarize them all by saying this:

A broadcaster is provided monetary rewards in the form of diamonds as a result of the support from their viewers.

Where does Pococha’s revenue come from?

Pococha’s revenue comes from the viewers! Each time a viewer uses an Item, they are creating revenue that will be provided to the broadcaster in the form of Diamonds.

What are Pococha’s costs?

As mentioned, broadcasters are provided monetary rewards for their efforts in garnering support from viewers! A lot of the revenue is used in this manner.

Just like any app, Pococha must may 30% of all revenue to Apple & Google. Without paying this, Pococha would not be allowed to operate as an app on those services!

Additionally, Pococha sets aside a budget for marketing purposes. This helps us grow the app, attract new viewers, and help make Pococha a household name! Labor costs are the costs to keep Pococha running and pay our amazing staff.

Finally, similar to other platforms and app, Pococha normally takes a commission fee. However, we have currently removed this and are instead investing that money back into broadcasters in the form of Performance Bonuses.

Pococha is currently a small, but fast-growing app. During this growth phase, we want to ensure that our broadcasters can earn enough rewards in order to commit themselves to Pococha. So, Pococha is actually temporarily providing higher amounts of rewards than normal to the broadcaster.

We believe that if a new broadcaster cannot earn substantial rewards due to a small number of viewers, they are very likely to stop and give up on their broadcasting career. This is why we are currently not taking any commission fees and instead investing our profits into helping develop the next generation of influencers.

Please note:

  • The Performance Bonus is only a temporary reward that Pococha is providing to broadcasters to help subsidize any difficulties they experience with Pococha’s growth phase.
  • Once our platform has grown to a level where lots of viewers are able to provide broadcasters with higher amounts of rewards, we can expect the reward system to return to the original system. One where Pococha is taking a commission fee and there is no Performance Bonus. Instead, broadcasters will be successful due to the large size of their communities they created after committing to Pococha in the long run!

How will the Pococha Reward System transition from subsidizing broadcasters into the original system?

Pococha will grow alongside the growth of its broadcasters!

Pococha will work hard to send more and more new users into the app everyday. The broadcaster will work hard to attract these new viewers into their broadcast, and convert them into lifelong fans!

Then as their viewers support grows, so will Pococha’s revenue – meaning larger rewards for its creators.

As we mentioned, this is similar to the journey of platforms like Youtube and Tik Tok. Many pioneering creators joined these platforms at their beginning phases. Even though there was not much revenue to reward the creators, the creators believed in the app and committed to it. Now, those creators are being rewarded at extremely high levels. They helped make the platforms as big as they could be, and were rewarded in return.

In Conclusion

Many users had questions about how the Pococha Reward System works. It’s actually quite simple!

Broadcasters are not salaried employees of Pococha. Instead, they are creators using Pococha as a tool to grow their communities. The monetary rewards they earn on Pococha are generated by the support being sent by viewers in their broadcaster.

Pococha is a fast-growing app, and users who commit themselves to its growth will be the first to reap its benefits. Pococha is rewarding these users in the form of a Performance Bonus to help subsidize their rewards while the app is growing.

Choosing now to be a high-Rank broadcaster with a large fan community means endless possibilities in the future!

New Event is Arriving! Family Clash: Panda Party

Work with your Family to win the Family Clash: Panda Party!

Everyone’s favorite Item, Panda, is now the star of a new Event!

Here on Pococha, we believe a Family should work together to win an Event. So, we’ve created an Event to help broadcasters bring all their Family members together for a cause!

This new Event encourages building the team spirit of each Family with our beloved Panda Item. Broadcasters and viewers, work together to get this party going!

What do you need to do? The key to victory is to keep the panda rolling across the screen!

In this event, the “number of Panda Items used” by Family members* will add a bonus to the broadcaster’s Event Point score.

*Note: Viewers must join the broadcaster’s Family in order for their Panda to add a bonus to Event Points.

Winning broadcasters will receive a special in-app banner promoting their profile.

Broadcaster’s and their Family members can win matching profile backgrounds as well!

Which Family will be the top of Pococha? Let’s find out!

Both broadcasters and Family members can win a prize!

Winning broadcasters will be awarded a special in-app banner and profile background theme. This special banner will introduce your profile to all of Pococha – a great way to earn new followers!

Family members who use the Panda Item a specified number of times for the broadcaster during the event period can also win the special profile theme! Show off the support you gave to your broadcaster with this awesome profile!

Also, When Family members use a Panda Item in the broadcast, it will add Panda Bonus Points on top of the regular Event Point score. More pandas rolling across the screen means more bonuses!

Note: Event Points will still be earned even if you use non-Panda Items during the event period.

Pioneering Event

This event will be a “Pioneering Event,” which means a new experiment we have not even tried anywhere in the world on Pococha. It will also serve as a test run for future Pococha events.

Because this is a Pioneering Event, there may be some unexpected issues or inconveniences. We sincerely ask our community for helping us and working with us to develop the new event system which will strengthen our community while everyone has a fun experience!

We encourage all A Rank broadcasters and their Family members to join this party, so more users can participate in this innovation.
